Tubular handle anthracite

Rated 5 out of 5 by Manny B from A good replacement for broken C3 handles The handle on our C3 Cat&Dog (great vacuum cleaner) broke for the second time (both of them within 2-3 years despite careful use) and I wanted to see if there was a better option. Discovered this part on the Miele web site but it was not indicated as being compatible for our model. However after checking the C3 online documentation and a making a visit to Harvey Norman with our wand for a fit check, it was clear that it would work, so ordered it online and it is working very well. It's very simple but solid and there don't appear to be any weak points that can break. It's also very comfortable to hold. Bonus is it's half the price of the original handle. Would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a replacement for their broken C3 handle. Buying online was simple and delivery was quick.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Frannie from Doesn’t fit 8 year old vacuum cleaner Unfortunately the tubular handle that I ordered did not fit the telescopic rod of my C3 Miele vacuum cleaner. This vacuum cleaner is about 8 years old and the tubular handle had broken because of wear and tear. Don’t know if the fitting has changed over the years, but that was disappointing (that it didn’t fit). Because of forceful trying to make it click/fit it slightly damaged the tubular handle and I couldn’t return it. There is also not the metal reinforcement in the new tubular handle like there is in the older version. At least not visible. I found a similar to mine second hand vacuum cleaner and that handle fitted fine, so problem solved for half the price of a new tubular handle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cleaner from Fits S8310 perfectly. Fits S8310 perfectly, despite no mention on the website (also confirmed by support team prior to purchase). Seems to be a stronger design around the vent which was the weak point of the original design. Hopefully will last better than the original one. Time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MacGyver from We made it work I read a lot of reviews before I purchased but I should have taken more note at that it does not fit conical hoses. I learned after buying this, our cx1 excellence vacuum has one. With a bit of tape we made the handle air tight but it doesn't actually fit. Still stoked, for a much lower handle replacement cost we can vacuum again. Just don't study where we connected it haha.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Daniel Young from Makes life much easier Works well, however, I tend to find this piece tends to crack after about 3-4 years in my experience. I have had a Miele vacuum for 15 years, upgraded our model in 2020 and this piece ends up cracking. I am not overly excessive or forceful. Otherwise a good product and understand this may be general wear and tear.
