Not adaptable for the C3 vacuum
This product has become a little frustrating to use. When I am vacuuming, I find the adjustable part in the middle of the pipe collapses with very little pressure. My vacuum is a the C3 model and the foot is also for the same model. I have been told by Miele helpline that the foot is not the right foot for the pipe. I can still use it and most of the time I do have issues, but occasionally it collapses. This happen mostly when I have the vacuum on full suction. I was advised to get the vacuum foot for that matches this pipe, however, this is an extra $200+ which I am unwilling to pay as I have also paid over $200 for a pipe and hose end.

Miele service is the way to go!!
Snapped a connection on my Miele telescopic wand so off I went to all the usual retailers in search of an urgent replacement. After receiving limited support or advice toward when these stores would receive an order for spare parts, I decided to get online and find an alternative which is when I stumbled on the Real McCoy - Miele Australia site. Took me 2 minutes to find and order the OEM wand replacement which was suitably priced and in stock. Service was amazing and received the wand only a few days later so I certainly know where I’ll be going for all my Miele products in future - WELL DONE!!

I wouldn’t buy one again…
Not great! The “extender” won’t fix and it continuously goes down while using.. so frustrating!

Spare parts
You know when something terrible is done to the vacuum cleaner and nobody owns up to it ... well that happens. I found that the little plastic bit at the end of the tube was completely broken off and therefore rendered the whole machine useless.
I was so relieved to find that I could get this exact part on line and what's more delivered to the door in a few days. Crisis averted!

Replacement Telescopic Pipe for Miele Cat and Dog
This is a replacement for the three section original telescopic pipe which came with the Cat and Dog 700. This one is a two pipe unit, and extends to the same length as the previous three piece unit. So far appears to be working well with no collapsing issues experienced with the original fitting (after time).

Vacuum part
It was quick and easy but the part itself I find I always have to tape up the extension adjuster because after some use will loosen and drop when vacuuming super frustrating. This was part of the reason for buying a new one

Genuine Meile is the only way to go
Good quality spare part. Works well but it should be a little firmer to slide as I feel that the spring may not last.
