Problems with a powered suction hose.
I have had a S768 model for a number of years until the powered hose began to cause trouble. At the time it was difficult to obtain a replacement hose and I think we eventually had a used one supplied until a new hose came from Germany. We then had the same issue after a few years. We found this very disappointing because the replacement was expensive. This hose finally failed and we purchased a replacement vacuum cleaner, not Miele. After about 18 months it became obvious that we still preferred our Miele and so purchased a new suction hose for it. We hope it lasts longer than the previous hoses. I actually dis-assembled one of the failed hoses and discovered the problem. The small board inside the handle that had the electrical connections was not up to the job, considering the constant movement of the handle when in use. We are happy now that the vacuum is back in action. I just have to find a buyer for the repacement one.

Vacuum hose
Would be great if you could just replace the hose and not have to buy the handle. Arrived very quickly
