Absolute rubbish
I bought this about a year ago to replace the severely damaged and blistered knobs I found on the Miele hob when I moved in. Hugely disappointed to see that they were really cheap and nasty plastic, and began to blister after a couple of months. (It gets hot around stovetops!). Now one of them has lost its internal clip that actually makes it turn the valve, so I need to replace it. Miele have produced these knobs with no thought for their reputation as a maker of premium appliances. The price for such a pathetic, not-fit-for purpose product is outrageous.

Breaks easily
I bought the stovetop about 5 years ago and have gone though about a dozen of these knobs. Where the little metal plat that engages the stem of the switch goes into the bakelite it creates a weak spot which fractures too easily. The knobs need to be made of a less brittle material.

Fantastic replacement knob for KM362G
It's lower than the original knob. If you want them all matching to your original ones, you need to buy four. It also comes with rubber grommets which has a larger hole to fit this one. This is a stronger unit and works well. Paint colour is slightly different to the first version which is now close to shinier stainless steel colour.

The replacement knobs for the cooktop are way overpriced. Hard to justify how the company could even charge half of what they did.

Prices for spare parts.
Product was good, arrived on time. I felt the price was exorbitant for the knobs. $30.00 for a knob is over the top.

Poor quality, overpriced
This knob is made of flimsy plastic which breaks very easily.
Not what is expected of Miele.
