Terrible head piece
I bought this about a year ago and the head piece is terrible!! The wheels have fallen off as I was using it and this was because there was so much hair stuck between the wheels that it couldn’t turn it was going to take ages to take all the hair off so I went and bought another head Piece that cost over $100 for the head piece,once again the wheels fell off while vacuuming the house I have never experienced this before with vacuums so disappointed the suction is great it’s nice and light to move around the house but the head piece let Miele down

Only lasts just past warranty
I've had two of these now, and unfortunately can't justify another one. The first one died after 5 yrs and I was told it was because we didn't use genuine bags. So we bought another, which we used far less, as we got a cheap stick vac as well for in between vacs. But despite only ever using proper miele bags, and only using it once a week or less, just out of the 2 year warranty it died!! Started making a terrible noise and strong electrical smell just in the middle of vacuuming one day. I was told it would be $70 to look at, and then likely at least $300 for parts. Such a shame, as the same shop told me Miele just last and last, and they are great vacuum cleaners as far as suction and comfort go. You just can't pay the price these are, for something that won't even last 3 years!
