Before drying, the garments are tumbled in a current of hot air while the spin speed is gradually increased. This reduces the water content in your laundry before the actual drying cycle begins which saves time and electricity.

Miele’s single-use capsules are a solution for special types of laundry. Made from 100 % recycled plastic, they go into the fabric conditioner compartment. The content of a capsule is perfect for a single wash cycle – there is no risk of adding too much or too little detergent. There are 6 special-purpose detergents to choose from, plus 3 fabric conditioners, the ImpraProtect proofing agent, Booster for stubborn soiling and CottonRepair.

Dispensing completely automatically – TwinDos offers 2 options: you either add liquid detergent or fabric conditioner to the Miele refill containers (optional accessories) or you use Miele's 2-phase system. For maximum efficiency, TwinDos dispenses UltraPhase 1 and UltraPhase 2 at the appropriate time in the process. TwinDos plus the 2-phase system achieves the best performance and offers the best liquid detergent system on the market instantly.

This means that you can wash your clothes in the Miele washer-dryer even right before an appointment or meeting.

Worry-free laundry care: thanks to the TwinDos® automatic dispensing with UltraPhase 1 and UltraPhase 2 in combination with the excellent cleaning efficiency of PowerWash, over 99.9 % of viruses are reliably removed. This has been confirmed in a test by Albstadt-Sigmaringen University. The “Cottons hygiene 60 °C” programme with the “AllergoWash” Extra is effective against enveloped coronaviruses and flu viruses as well as non-enveloped viruses.*

The stains option adjusts the programme sequence to remove stubborn soiling. For example, a pre-wash is added to the programme and the main wash is extended. The QuickPower function provides you with maximum freedom. The innovative Spin&Spray wash technology ensures even shorter programme running times. Your laundry is spun briefly and sprayed with water via the suds circulation system. This means that you can wash 4 kg of laundry in just 49 minutes – with the usual excellent washing and rinsing performance. With the drying programme, your Miele washer-dryer will run for less than three hours.

Miele provides protection for your home for all Miele water protection systems - for appliances used for the equivalent of 20 years. Should you incur damage to property as a result of a defect in the water protection system, you have a safety guarantee^*. In the context of the terms and conditions of the water protection system Miele will bear the costs for property damage resulting from any defect of the system. so long as the appliance was professionally installed.

With the water level sensor and float switch, the WPM offers the highest level of protection against flooding and water damage. The inlet hose is metal-braided which protects against external damage. This space-saving water safety system is particularly practical for example, for washer-dryers which are often installed in confined spaces.

This intelligent function helps you to avoid overloading the washer-dryer and also to dispense the correct amount of detergent. The washer-dryer measures the amount of laundry you have loaded and indicates how much more laundry can be added. Operation is simple – whether you use the Miele app, voice control or integration into existing Smart Home solutions. The appliances are networked via a home WiFi router and the Miele Cloud.

Many Miele washing machines feature LED drum lighting. The maintenance-free high-performance LEDs illuminate the Miele honeycomb drum so perfectly that you can no longer overlook any laundry items. Easy to use and easy on the eye. 

Fluff remaining inside the machine after the last drying cycle is completely rinsed out in this programme. Condenser channel, suds container and drum are completely lint-free within a few minutes. This safely prevents discolouring of textiles transmitted by fluff.

In the unique Miele honeycomb drum with its sculptured surface, laundry glides gently on a thin film of water. As a result, the textiles are treated particularly gently, dry more uniformly and are smoothed better.

The PerfectDry and Thermospin functions provide precise – and particularly ecological – drying results. And thanks to PerfectCare, you no longer need to remove fluff by hand because your Miele appliance does it automatically for you.

Miele SteamCare makes laundry care easy. The Freshen up programme can be used to remove odours from items of clothing that have only been worn briefly without actually washing them. Your clothes will smell wonderful! In the SteamFinish programme, you can smooth freshly washed textiles, saving you up to 50 % of time and effort when it comes to ironing and giving you more freedom.

With the pre-ironing option, you can reduce the need for ironing by up to 50 %. At the end of the wash programme, a smoothing programme completes the process. During this, laundry is tumbled inside the moist, warm drum and smoothed with steam.
