Tumble drying has never been so quiet! The new SilenceDrum is far quieter during drying. The special design of the drum reduces subjectively perceived noise spikes by half – in particular when drying garments with buttons and zips. This is achieved by the inclusion of insulating strips in the design of the drum, which significantly reduce disturbance from rattling noises. Your dryer can be operated in comfort even close to your living spaces.

The ProfiEco motor from Miele is a powerful inverter drive and is also extremely economical and quiet. As the motor is electronically controlled, it does not require carbon brushes, which means it has no wear. For many years of efficient and convenient laundry care.

The Eco feedback function helps you to dry as economically as possible. The estimated energy consumption appears before the start of the selected programme. The actual consumption is displayed during and after drying. This value will vary depending on the load. This allows you, on the basis of accurate data, to protect the environment and save money. Filter saturation is also indicated. Because: a clean fluff filter saves energy. 

Miele's EcoDry technology guarantees consistently low energy consumption and drying times. Due to the effective interaction of the Miele filter system and the maintenance-free heat exchanger, fluff has no chance to clog the heat exchanger and thereby reduce performance permanently. Miele heat-pump tumble dryers always operate economically with EcoDry - for the life of your appliance.

In Miele heat-pump dryers, the heat exchanger is protected by an effective filter system and does not require cleaning. This ensures constant low energy consumption – throughout the entire service life of the appliance.

With this system, your laundry dries perfectly – even if the water contains significant amounts of calcium. This is by no means the norm on machines without PerfectDry as the calcium content in the water influences residual moisture sensing – in turn impacting on drying results. PerfectDry takes the current calcium content of water into account and precisely adjusts the drying process, ensuring that the selected drying level is always achieved.

Miele fragrance flacons perfume your laundry with your favourite scent during drying. The fragrances are produced by a family-run company in the south of France that has been creating perfumes since 1871. A patented process ensures that the essential oils in the perfume are preserved. The result: fresh laundry with a natural fragrance that lasts for up to 4 weeks. Depending on the appliance model, you can use one or even two fragrances.

Hygienic laundry care – also during drying. HygieneDry can be relied upon to remove more than 99.99 %^* of bacteria and 99.9 %_^* of viruses from your laundry during drying. This is achieved thanks to especially long temperature holding times. The effectiveness of HygieneDry has been confirmed by the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and Albstadt-Sigmaringen University. HygieneDry is suitable for fabrics with two dots on the wash-care label.

Whether it's a pair of jeans, a blouse or just a sock: thanks to the AddLoad function, you can easily add any laundry items that you've forgotten – up until shortly before the end of the programme. Operation is easy: press the “Start / Add laundry” button to stop the programme. 

The digital interface on Miele appliances conveniently lists the operational functions in different languages. Select the desired language in the menu via the display. Your selection will then be indicated by a flag symbol. Should you wish to return to the language menu to make a change, simply make use of the flag symbol for instant access.

Maximum user convenience: thanks to the new Wash2Dry networking function, your washing machine sends its data to the tumble dryer after the wash cycle. The dryer then automatically selects the corresponding programme for your laundry. All you have to do is load the laundry from the washing machine into the dryer, switch it on, and select Wash2Dry. As a result, your textiles – whether it’s denim jeans or dress shirts – are always perfectly dried. In order to use this function, the appliances must be registered in the in-house WiFi network.

With our innovative Miele@home system, you can exploit the full potential of your Miele appliances and make your everyday life even smarter. All intelligent Miele domestic appliances can be networked conveniently and securely. Operation is simple – whether you use the Miele app, voice control or integration into existing Smart Home solutions. The appliances are networked via a home WiFi router and the Miele Cloud.

All Miele heat-pump dryers feature integrated condensed water drainage with a hose tidy. As a result, you can pump out condensate into a sink or a siphon and save yourself the trouble of emptying the condensate container.

Optimum results can be achieved by adding a DryFresh® fragrance flacon to neutralise odours.

Do you just want to freshen up your favourite item of clothing? DryFresh^® removes unpleasant odours during the drying programme – without having to wash your clothes. This is all thanks to a longer ventilation phase, which is gentle on delicate fabrics. For optimum results, add a DryFresh^® fragrance flacon to the tumble dryer. This system, which is unique to Miele, both neutralises odours and gives clothes a pleasant scent.

If you cannot remove your laundry immediately after the end of the drying programme, the anti-crease action ensures that the items are loosened up at regular intervals to prevent excessive creasing.

The new DryCare 40 Extra makes it even easier to care for your laundry. You can load your clothes into the tumble dryer immediately after a 40 °C wash programme without having to sort through them first^*. This saves you both time and effort. The DryCare 40 Extra can be added to various programmes and is suitable for fabrics that can be washed at 40 °C^*.
