Rated 5 out of 5 by Laced from Great choice of dishwasher. Very satisfied. We finally succumbed to having a dishwasher installed after 22 years in our house. There is, of course, such a wide range of brands and models to choose from. However we were well-advised and settled on a Miele dishwasher with a cutlery tray ( a preference) and Auto-dos with the Power Disc. We have been very impressed! It is well-built and worth the extra dollars. Another of our main requirements for choice of a dishwasher was that it had a low noise level. This dishwasher is sooo quiet, we had to check to make sure it was on, when we first used it! The additional bonus 'gift' of 6 free Power Discs was very well-received and these arrived promptly.

We have had a Miele Navitronic W2888 for over 20 years and decided it needed an update as the hot water solenoid and pipe was sticking and required a $400 part. As we are older now and dont use the machine as much, we decided on a Miele W1 TwinDos & 8kg Modern Life to replace it. All very good, but the machine tells you how long the program will take as you turn it on, but does not count down telling you how long to go till finished. This is a disappointment compared to our old Navitronic! Am now wishing we kept the old machine and just replaced the solenoid and inlet pipe!

WE RETURNED BOTH THE NEW TOP MODEL NOVA WASHING MACHINE AND NOVA DRYER. THE SOFTWARE DIDN'T WORK ON THE DRYER, THE DRYER DID NOT COMMISSION. THE WASHING MACHINE UPDATED IT'S SOFTWARE AND THEN STOPPED WORKING AFTER 2 DAYS. THE DRYER DIDN'T DRY THE CLOTHES PROPERLY AND WOBBLED AROUND ALOT, THE WASHER WAS REASONABLE BUT STOPPED WORKING AS STATED. YOU ALSO NEED REALLY LONG CYCLES TO WASH HEAVY LOADS, ALL SHORT CYCLE OPTIONS ARE ONLY HALF LOADS. TO MIELES CREDIT, THEY DID REFUND OUR MONEY AND DID ACT PROFESSIONALLY IN THE END, BUT THAT IS THE ONLY POSITIVE THING WE HAVE TO SAY ON THIS OCCASION.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nicole76oz from 20 years on - Love my new dishwasher We have just replaced our twenty year old Miele dishwasher with the new model. Liked the last one - Love the new one. Right from the sales guy to the installation - great service. Deeper draws, better draw layout, excellent auto setting that takes out the guess work. Plus it deals with baked on food - think muffin tins, lasagna dish, rice starch remnants. I wasn’t sure about the power disc feature but so far so good. We are being super careful to resist the urge to push it closed after the auto open to support drying as the technician warned us this was often an issue. Whilst we don’t think this is the best design feature the family are aware so hopefully we can avoid the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lover of Miele from A bit disappointed I'm a bit disappointed with my new W1 TwinDos & 8kg Modern Life - it washes really well, it is my second Miele washing machine. I passed on my 11yr old near new machine to my daughter for an upgrade in my new home. My issue is the it takes so long to complete a load of washing making washing day long & tedious. My previous model had more options for timing of cycles. Please be aware of this if you are looking at making this purchase. I almost dread doing the washing now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheena from Loving my new TwinDos Machine Really enjoying using my new washing machine. The TwinDos concept and set up makes it easy to use and simple to use conventionally with powder or liquid laundry detergent. I really only use two cycles the 40 and 20 minutes ones. The 20 minute cycle would benefit from being the first cycle you can select in Other cycles. I find the some of the other cycles just too long ie: 3 hours. Other than that this machine washes really well. Definitely Recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Blake from Miele didn’t care about me, or my disability. Miele for life does nothing really, there’s no ‘priority’ customer service. A free 10 year warranty promotion came out immediately after I purchased my new washing machine. As a less fortunate person who has a significant disability, I asked if Miele could apply the free warranty to my product as well. I opted for Miele because I really needed my machine to last. I can’t afford another one. So the warranty would have really given me some added security. But, Miele doesn’t really care about you, or your circumstances. They certainly showed that they don’t care about the disabled community. They just care about the dollars. It really wouldn’t have been hard to apply to promotion to my order. It wouldn’t have cost Miele a thing, and would have meant a lot to me. I did raise my request with multiple customer service officers via e-mail, most of whom gave a stock standard reply and ignored me.

Love, love, love Miele washing machines.. i have just retired my 17 year old beauty that has served me exceptionally well and never missed a beat.washing for a family of 5. she still works pretty well however struggles with larger loads. I will keep her as a spare.. and i've just purchased 2 brand new Twin Dos machines, one for holiday home and one for home. I would not even consider another brand..these machines are made to last and I would thoroughly recommend Miele for anyone wanting a efficient, reliable and quality washing machine.
