Fitting kit Non-return valve

Rated 1 out of 5 by Marek77 from Waste of money I purchased this non return with hose under the advice from good guys saying this is what I would need to connect my heat pump dryer to the laundry tub drain. The description "Suitable for all dryer drain hose connections to sink spigot" This hose is not compatible with standard barb on sink/laundry tub trap. Pictured is a 40mm trap with this accessory. As you can see it will not go over the top of the trap barb. The intended use case for this accessory is pictured in the instructions. The instructions are missing from the listing. I have never seen a trap with that style of connection, must a European thing. Conducted a search on Reece website for traps which may have smaller barb or similar to the attached picture and nothing. The hose length is 600mm Non return valve not watermarked approved.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Flippnlorry from Disappointed Nearly $100, but it doesn’t contain any end fitting suitable for connection to an Australian S-bend spigot. Miele would not let me book a service to have it fitted, as I queried whether even their own service people would be able to easily do it. I had to run around Reece sourcing parts to adapt it. Very disappointed with both the part and with lack of preparedness by Miele to assist.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ENDEE from Drier pipe Hopeless, and very expensive. I wanted an extension pipe so the drier could drain to the sink train. But the pipe is ridiculously short ( and the length was not specified). waste of my time and money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by GarryT from Additional Parts Required If you live in Australia be aware this piece will not fit to the laundry connection under your sink. You need extra parts to connect from the small Miele hose to the laundry pipe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Miele Consumer from Expensive Accessory I purchased this accessory thinking that it would prove an important addition to the Miele dryer: which is yet to be installed. The delivery of the accessory was remarkably fast, especially given Covid pandemic. However, I am disappointed at the length of the hose, which will severely limit the installation position options. The item is overpriced, given the size of the hose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Service Excellence We ordered a non return valve for our dryer - the part is just what we needed to stop any chance of water leaks, it was very reasonably priced and was delivered within 2 days despite all the logistic challenges of Covid 19. Miele service is just simply the best!
