The instructions did not help me so I tried to do it outside of the dishwasher w/out the silver plate. This did not work as I couldn’t seperate. I had to purchase another one and fixed it outside if the dishwasher. This was a costly repair. Happy w product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by D Bullivant from Dishwasher filter and microfine filter The instructions how to assemble the new basket were a little unclear and resulted in the central fastening clip between the top and bottom halves being stripped. Now the bottom comes away when removing from the dishwasher. I might have to order another whole filter and try again. Good product but poor instructions.

Only issue was needing to buy full filter kit rather than just the small plastic part that was broken, even though the kit came in 3 pieces that I had to fit together to install - made it high cost relative to the broken part
