An added level of safety: you can lock the appliance and prevent unintentional operation, e.g. by children. Good oven (let down by the external features)
The oven works well and has a good range of functions. The extendable tray arms are great for getting heavy casseroles out of the oven. I am less impressed with the door handle design, shorter in length, which limits what you can hang on it and the clock/timer display is quite clunky and time consuming to set up for cooking. I expect a little more sophistication from a market-leading brand.

Good oven plug and play
Got this to replace old oven. Easy installation, good functionality and reaches temperature fast. Seems to stay pretty clean too. Only negative is the fiddly shelf slide outs. Overall, a 9/10 for the price.

Oven
The oven power cable came with an open circuit that require an electrician to connect the plug. This instruction was not stated clearly on the website and the installation manual. I am very disappointed that a well known brand such as Miele do not have a clear instructions or oven installs service when a third party (electrician) is required.
