Benchtop CM5310 review
This was a replacement unit for an older model that became unserviceable and was uneconomic to repair. I was very happy with my previous Miele benchtop machine. The CM5310 however has been disapointing in a few aspects. Firstly it took a while adjusting parameters and trying different beans to get the taste to my liking. It is now making a pretty good long black, so Im happy with the machine from that point of view. For a fully automatic machine it is disappointing that after every three long black brews the machine requires the drip tray and the grounds bucket emptied, and the water resevoir is smaller than older models requiring refilling every three cups or so as it uses a lot of water for the rinse cycle.

Disappointed with this Miele coffee machine
Have used Miele coffee machines for a few years and changed to this new model when the older one had to retire. The right side of the milk spout (never the left) gets blocked after every 3-4 coffees despite rinsing immediately after making each coffee - its an expectation that this will happen regularly. Our previous Miele coffee machine only had this problem occasionally. Disappointing for a Miele quality appliance.

Perfect coffee every time
Really does taste like cafe brought coffee, with the right beans it makes a very enjoyable drink. The one button operation is a breeze to use. Its perfect for a couple thoe with 10 people round for coffee the small water tank and the rinsing cycle does add a bit to the process however you would expect that for a compact bench top coffee machine. We are pleased with our purchase and would highly recomend this machine.

Very happy customer, love this new CM5310 model.
I bought the CM5310 to replace my old CM5300, the CM5300 had some issues like water leaking under the drip tray, the coffee was never hot enough.
The new CM5310 does not have any problems at all, as far as I'm concerned it is perfect coffee machine +++++

Coffee just as I like it

Miele CM5310 Coffee Machine and Milk Flask.
This machine was ordered and paid for directly to sales at miele.co.nz on 16 December 2022. It was delivered late, not before Xmas as promised, but more than one month later from NZ to our address in the Bay of Islands New Zealand. We are now using it daily, and find it to be a good very hygienic automatic little companion, not complicated, but also not as quiet as a church.

Very needy machine
This machine needs you to do something every couple of drinks, whether it's fill the water, empty the drip tray, put the milk pipe in the tray to rinse etc. It's very annoying. It's a shame, because it makes nice coffee, but the constant nagging is a real downer. And there's no rhythm to it, sometimes it will demand to rinse the pipework after 2 mins, other times 30 mins.
